"Hi. We had a really good day fishing with you guys yesterday. Kian was so excited to have caught "big fish like daddy". Attached are some photos of him enjoying his day. If you want to use any of them on the website or Facebook or anything else then please feel free. Hopefully it will encourage other parents to get there young sons or daughters into fishing as well. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Take care Chris Cormier" Kian caught a 2lb 10 oz Tench, a 3lb 2 oz Bream and a 4lb 6 oz Carp. Well done Kian, this is a fantastic catch for such a young man and we are glad you had such a fantastic time here at Watmore Farm. |

"Hello, Just a note to say how much I enjoyed my recent introduction to Watmore farm. I first visited for a bank holiday afternoon. The weather was cold and blustery, the regulars told me it was a hard day. The fish were not exactly climbing up the banks but I managed to find a few fish using deep-water feeder tactics and thoroughly enjoyed the fishing. Spurred on by initial success and a spell of warm sunny weather I returned for an evening visit a few days later. The fishing is best described as hectic. I had hard fighting carp pretty much every cast on medium-range feeder and margin fished float with some good sized roach mixed in on the float gear. Super fishing. You have created a friendly, welcoming fishery in a pretty farmland setting and those hard fighting fish just never give up. I'll be back. Phil Glossop" Received 7th June 2010 |
